The first publication of Einstein's theory of relativity had great impact on the scientific world. Einstein dealt with the electrodynamics of moving bodies, one of his conclusions being expressed in the famous formula e=mc(superscript 2) (energy and mass are proportional). A separate off- print of the paper was issued the same year.
